Join us on Fort Lauderdale Beach, Tuesday, November 22 for the annual Light Up the Beach Holiday Lighting Ceremony at the corner of A1A and Las Olas Boulevard.
The festivities begin at 5:30 pm with the South Florida Chamber Ensemble performing “Sounds of the Season.” At 6:30 pm, Fort Lauderdale Mayor Jack Seiler will flip the switch to illuminate Fort Lauderdale Beach and a larger-than-life beach snowman display.
Afterward, parade down to DC Alexander Park | 501 Seabreeze Boulevard | to enjoy holiday classics performed by the Florida 9th District American Legion Symphonic Band starting at 7pm.
The fun continues all night at this “holiday season kickoff” with a Kids’ Zone featuring Bounce Houses, Slides and Pony Rides, Refreshments and Holiday Cheer.
The Light Up the Beach event is sponsored by the Beach Improvement District, City of Fort Lauderdale Parks & Recreation and the Fort Lauderdale CRA.
